Map of the Tobago Cays showing the five isles of Petit Bateau, Petit Rameau, Baradal, Jamesby and Petit Tabac that make up the Tobago Cays Marine Park. The park is a large sandy lagoon protected by a horseshoe shaped coral reef.
The five small uninhabited isles are located in the southern Grenadines, just east of Mayreau.
Until 1999 the cays had been in private ownership for more than 400 years until their purchase by the St Vincent and Grenadines government.
