Bequia is
a delightful island and
the editor of Paradise
Islands was lucky enough
to explore the island
whilst staying on the
nearby
Young Island
resort. It is a peaceful
easy going place with
plenty of charm,
fabulous beaches and
scenery. Sailing and
diving are popular past
times for both local and
visitors alike with some
of the best diving reefs
in the world. Average
annual temperatures vary
between 24 and 32
degrees centigrade and
as with most
Caribbean Islands
the peak tourist season
is December to Easter. |

(known locally
as "de
Harbour").
Bequia is
blessed with
some fine white
sandy beaches
and coves
including
Princess
Margaret Beach,
