Anthurium andraeanum

Anthurium - Caribbean Flowers and Trees Photo Collection. The genus comprises about 600 tropical herbaceous species in the arum family, many of which are popular foliage plants in the Caribbean islands region. A few species are widely grown for the florist trade, including the flamingo lily Anthurium andraeanum and the flamingo flower (above), or pigtail plant A. scherzeranum which has a scarlet flower
