Jost Van Dyke
is just over three square miles
(about 2,000 acres) with
one hundred and fifty
permanent residents in
the
British
Virgin Islands.
JVG is a couple of miles
north west of Tortola
and a 20 minute ferry
ride landing in the main
settlement of Great
Harbour. JVD was named
after a notable Dutch
Pirate and the island
was first discovered by
Columbus in 1493. Click
