Photo of Saltwhistle Bay on Mayreau island in the Grenadines. Saltwhistle Bay (also sometimes known as Salt Whistle Bay) is the finest beaches on Mayreau on the northern tip of the island with a sheltered horseshoe shape and sprinkled with a few palm trees for shade.

Salt Whistle bay is very calm and a favourite anchorage for sailors. There is a narrow approach channel with dangerous reefs on either side.
