Salt Ponds Antigua

The salt ponds of Antigua support a great variety of bird life and are popular with bird watchers. Among the species found on Antigua's salt ponds are the Brown Pelican, Little Blue Heron, Black Crowned and Yellow Crowned Night Herons, Yellowlegs, Plovers and Terns. There are salt ponds at Mc Kinnons, Dark Wood, York and Fitches Creek.
